Posterior Segment OCT Imaging Device Optical Coherence Tomography Machine
RetiView 500 is an integrated automated ophthalmic outpatient diagnostic device that does not require much routine maintenance and requires only routine cleaning of human contacts. Before performing cleaning maintenance, please disconnect the power supply from the equipment.
Optical Coherence Tomography Machine (OCT) USES frequency domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) to obtain three-dimensional tomography images of the posterior segment of the eye. Sd-oct is based on low-coherent optical interferometry. In SD-OCT, light from a low-coherence source is divided by the interferometer into a sampling path (into the eye) and a reference path. The beam returning from both paths passes through the interferometer and mixes to the spectrometer. The spectrometer detects the mixed spectrum of all frequencies at the same time, and the Fourier transform of this spectrum can be used to obtain the intensity of the light signal backscattered at different depths. Since different tissues have different backscattering rates, the optical signal contains the structural information of retinal tissues. The 3d tomographic images of the retina can be obtained by transverse scanning and reconstruction of the acquired signals.
